Armed Forces Commitment
AGI’s commitment to being an Armed Forces Friendly employer has been strengthened by the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant in May 2020. This has led to AGI receiving a Bronze Level Award as part of the Government Employer Recognition Scheme.
The Armed Forces Covenant sets out the removal of disadvantage so that the Armed Forces community have the same access to services as the civilian community. It details the relationship between the nation, the government and the Armed Forces. It recognises that our nation has a moral obligation to members of the Armed Forces and their families, and it establishes how they should expect to be treated.
What this means for our staff
AGI supports employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including accommodating their training and deployment where possible and also offer support to local cadet units.
What this means for prospective candidates
AGI supports the employment of service leavers and veterans, as well as service spouses/partners. Applications are welcomed from all who meet criteria in our job specifications. Vacancies will be advertised on this site as well as on forces community sites including the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) and Naval Charity, the White Ensign Association.
