After significant expansion to our in–house testing capability, AGI have an opening on the team for an Engineer to play a leading role in the verification and qualification of our naval marine and military hardware products.

Undertake product qualification testing for both new and existing products.
Prepare, control and undertake environmental testing for water and dust ingress protection, temperature and humidity testing, vibration, highly accelerated life testing and CE.
To operate, prepare and run environmental machinery for the onsite facilities.
To assist in arranging external product qualification testing for EMC, shock, vibration etc.
To conduct Test Readiness Reviews prior to handover to our Customer Support Team for Factory Acceptance Testing.
To prepare technical documentation in accordance with the AGI procedures, contract requirements and local and international legislation.
Essential attributes required for this position.
Confident and accountable personality, comfortable leading & executing test projects
Demonstrable experience of qualification testing to CE, MIL SPEC and DEF STAN requirements
Knowledge and demonstrable experience of product and system verification testing
Knowledge and demonstrable experience of testing and operating analogue and digital electronic equipment, preferably within the defence, marine or aviation industry.
Live (or willing to relocate) within a commutable distance from Poole
The following attributes would be a distinct advantage
Knowledge of meteorological, navigation or aviation lighting systems would be advantageous.
