The Apprenticeship Programme at AGI and AISH Technologies is a comprehensive training and development programme involving day release college study integrated with full time employment across AGI & AISH Technologies.
You will work towards a BTEC qualification plus in house practical skills training to NVQ Level 3.
At AGI/AISH Technologies, we believe in giving you a broad experience and, where possible, the opportunity to try different things. Our products vary significantly in terms of technology, application, complexity and size, and as a result, the working environment can be very different from one department to another.
A rotational element is incorporated into the Apprenticeship programme, which not only allows you to get a broader perspective of the business, but it also enables us to see what you are good at, with a view to finding the best possible fit for you going forward.
We are offering two types of Apprenticeship Programme, one being a Craft Apprenticeship Programme where you could be assembling some complicated mechanical or electronic products, carrying out maintenance on one of our exciting products, or you could even take part in a quality audit. We are also offering an Engineering Support Apprenticeship Programme where you could be designing products using CAD, writing a technical report or accompanying our sales team on customer visits.
Whatever you are doing it will all be designed to make the most of your skills and potential, giving you the best possible kick start to a challenging and rewarding career.
Successful completion of the Apprenticeship could provide you with many exciting career opportunities within the business and may lead to further sponsorship to HNC, Foundation Degree or full degree courses.
AGI and AISH are committed to developing their employees to their maximum potential and many of our Apprentices have gone on to senior roles within the business.
Ideally we would like you to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, graded A-C. However, we would love to hear from you if you have a natural enthusiasm and flare for engineering!
The package for an Apprentice includes a competitive salary, 25 days holiday entitlement per year, employer contributory pension, death in service benefit, cycle to work scheme, free car parking and the opportunity to earn additional rewards.
So, if you are interested in pursuing an Engineering career and would like to apply for the AGI Apprenticeship Programme, please contact Natalie Tooley, Recruitment Officer: firstname.lastname@example.org for an application form. We look forward to hearing from you!
