The AGI Runway Visual Range (RVR) systems provide a fully automated assessment and reporting of runway visibility. Runway Visual Range measurements are displayed on AGI displays or input to AWOS systems. The systems are fully compliant to ICAO and WMO accuracy guidelines.

AGIVIS 2000 is a Transmissometer based RVR measurement system
AGIVIS FSI is a forward scatter based RVR measurement system

Each systems comprises of:

• Runway visibility sensors
• Background Luminance meter
• Runway Lighting interface
• RVR processor
• RVR displays
