Weather systems built by AGI have been in operation for over 15 years installed at airports and with meteorological authorities. The first systems were produced in collaboration with the UK Meteorological Office with installations in the UK, Eastern Europe and SE Asia.
AGIMET Air is based on the successful AGIMET naval weather system. AGIMET meets the rigorous standards demanded by military weather systems and it is deployed on naval ships throughout the world. It measures wind, temp/humidity and pressure. More than 100 systems are in operation throughout the world.
All of the components and software used in AGIMET Air were designed for high reliability and low maintenance. The weather sensors have a proven reliability record operating in harsh conditions over many years.
AGI software meets the UK SW01 and European ED -109 software standards. The most important software attribute is the fact that some of the software has been in continuous operation for over 16 years with no problems attributed to its design and implementation.
