Territory Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Territory Manager to join our Airport Systems Division.

We require a highly motivated and dynamic sales professional, to be responsible for selling our lighting and airfield meteorological systems, within an assigned region.  The post holder will be focused on developing sales of AGI’s product portfolio through our agent, and through direct sales channels.  In addition to managing and developing current AGI clients, they will be expected to identify and win new business; so should expect considerable international travel to maximise their time in front of the customer.

We are looking for an individual who will participate in, and contribute to, the day to day activities of the Division in relation to all matters concerning sales, marketing and administration, and who will present our products in a professional manner.  The successful candidate will develop a sales strategy and forecast, to penetrate the markets in their given territory, and plan and develop their own call cycle, to maximise customer facing time.  They will identify the customers that have the most sales growth potential for our product portfolio and win these new business accounts; run, assist and attend exhibitions/shows; report back industry, competitive and product news; and prepare system quotations.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious and have a conscientious approach to work, with a flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.  They will be flexible and organised, and have strong attention to detail, with the capability to work on their own initiative.  They will have excellent communication skills, and will convey confidence and professionalism when building relationships with all team members across the business, and with customers.  Previous experience in sales or business development is essential for this role, and a knowledge of CRM Systems would be advantageous, as would experience working with overseas customers, agents or distributors. Applicants would also have a strong knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Baseline security clearance will be required for the successful candidate.
