Product Support Engineer

We are currently searching for an experienced Product Support Engineer to join our busy Airport Systems Division to undertake technical support for all products including design and development, obsolescence management, customer training and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare technical documentation, including training course material, data sheets, and sales support specifications.
  • To project manage or to work as a member of a project team on key tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager
  • To work alongside the ASD design team, assisting with the development of new product design and the production engineering design support of the existing product range.
  • To install, provide training and carry out acceptance test of ASD products at both AGI and customer sites in the UK and abroad.

 General Tasks:

  • To provide support to the sales team, providing technical input to proposals where necessary and if requires technical sales presentations to customers UK and abroad.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotations for customer for support requirements including non-recurring engineering input, product training and setting to work.
  • Be aware of legislation, codes of practice and operating standards
  • Assisting departments within AGI with product support issues as required.
